Before being called to the Bar, Hannes practised as a commercial litigator for over 14 years and was most recently a partner at an international law firm. His practice focused on construction and engineering disputes, claims against financial and legal professionals, and insurance disputes. He was regularly instructed in large and complex multi-party disputes involving architects, engineers, certifiers, surveyors, contractors, financial professionals and barristers.
