Michael is an experienced commercial litigator with an emphasis in his practice on trial advocacy, particularly in building and construction and insolvency matters. Prior to commencing practice at the private bar in 2012, Michael was admitted as a legal practitioner in 2006 and worked as a solicitor in Brisbane, predominantly in the areas of insolvency, commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Michael regularly appears in the State and Federal Courts in Brisbane, throughout Queensland and interstate when required and in mediations as both counsel and mediator.
