Odette was called to the bar in May 2025. Her practice primarily involves planning and environment matters, as well as commercial and civil litigation.

Odette commenced legal practice as a solicitor in the planning and environment team at Corrs Chambers Westgarth. Prior to that, she served as the Associate to the Members of the Land Court of Queensland and then as the Associate to His Honour Judge Jones of the District Court of Queensland.

Odette has a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Queensland. She was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in December 2017.
