Shireen Long, Barrister

Shireen is a versatile, diligent and approachable barrister who has a broad commercial litigation practice. She represents clients in commercial disputes in the areas of insolvency, building and construction, banking and finance, competition and consumer law, insurance, defamation, property and general commercial matters.

Prior to being called to the Bar, Shireen was a senior associate in a busy commercial litigation firm. She draws on that experience to achieve strategic outcomes for her clients.

Shireen has extensive court experience representing clients in the State and Federal Courts, Commissions and Tribunals (both led and unled). 

Shireen sits on the Queensland Bar Association’s Building and Construction Law Committee, General Litigation Committee and Bar Care Committee.
